Replay Room does not set or read any cookies, does not require an account, and does not collect names, emails, or any other personal information. This page explains plainly what information is tracked/stored, the mechanisms used, and their purpose.
Web browsers provide two built-in storage mechanisms that live entirely on your device and are never transmitted to any server: localStorage (persists until you clear your browser data) and sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab). Replay Room uses both only for small UI preferences:
rating-blend (localStorage) and rating-blend-session (sessionStorage): remembers which match rating “blend” (e.g. balanced, drama-focused, goals-focused) you last chose to display.disabled-secondary-leagues (sessionStorage): remembers which leagues you've hidden from the match list tabs.info-tip-* keys (localStorage): a set of flags that remember which one-time help tooltips you've already dismissed, so they don't keep reappearing.None of these values identify you personally, and none of them are ever sent to Replay Room's servers. They exist only in your browser to make the site remember your preferences.
Replay Room uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog stores an anonymous device identifier in localStorage (not a cookie), which is used to track the information below. These details are used to understand which features are most useful and to improve the site:
Since Replay Room has no accounts, login, or forms that collect personal details, there is no name, email address, or other personal information available for analytics use.
